Heard about these people today.
Sounds much to good to be true.
Has anyone here had any dealings with them?
And before anyone says anything, I have no conection with them.

I'd say don't touch them with a barge pole!
Companies House records show changes of registered office on 22nd
September 2011, 7th October 2011 and 12 December 2011. Their account
filing is overdue. Company name was registered in March 2010 but
doesn't seem to have done much since (apart from a change in company
secretary and 3 changes of registered office). AFAIK, this means that
the company is essentially the same as that in 2010.
Their web site says they deliver for some of the best known companies
in the UK. So name them.
Have a look at the careers section of the web site and form your own
conclusions as to the math of becoming a delivery driver.
If they're that good and that cheap, why haven't we all heard of them
before (OK they're "new", having been set up in 2010).
Check clause 6.2 of their T&Cs. I guess that plants are perishable. So
if they lose a consignment it seems they're not liable. Seems to be a
lot of pay up front stuff too.
A quid a parcel for collect, process, deliver? My costs work out at
over 50p a mile (depreciation, petrol, servicing, tyres, oil etc
topups, cleaning, garaging, insurance .......). Again, work the math
for yourself.
Hands up - who has seen a "paypound express" van or delivery person?
There's a famous saying - if it seems too good to be true it usually
is. Can't help feeling that it applies here. If they'd said 3 quid a
parcel, I'd maybe have been more interested but at a single quid I
won't trust them.
Cheers, Jake
