What's your definition of a young un?
Under 30, under 40, under 50?

Do we care?  The last thing gardening needs is that kind of daft polarisation.

My children are now in their 30s or close to that and some have
children of their own.  I greatly enjoy getting their povs even while
I'm touched and pleased that when they need it,  they ask for mine.
