Does anyone have recommendations of sources of good compost from a recycled
source in the London area? It's for an allotment - we are too small to have
our own supply.
Thanks

Kingstonn upon Thames council sell compost from their recycling /rubbish
depot at Villers Road, K-o-T but IMO it is expensive at £2.00 a bag. Best
make your own.
Stables at Surbiton golf gourse have loads of horse manure free to
collecters, likewise stables on Ridgeway, Wimbledon

There should be truckloads of leafmould available any time now. Speak to
your local council/parks dept. Also contact any stables or riding schools
etc, (brigade of guards?) for horse manure.

Camden recycling centre.. Most of the city farms will do manure..
Thomsons of Crews hill and we have a man who will do a trailer for 25
quid but I have to say its smallish for 25 quid IMO..
As soon as my local city farm get their new building up and outta the
way i will be at the manure pile!-)
