Anyone know the name of the beetle that attacks the root's of the clematis.

Vine Weevil? its the grubs that do the damage but if you mean something
else, please don't tell me there is something else eats clematis that I
haven't had yet!!

It's only two years old and the same thing happened last year, it seemed to
die around about September but it burst into life again this year.
Is that the symptoms for the Vine Weevil.
I will do a Google see what that says.
