It really is just what we'd like to have had all summer.  Customers
have now gone, everything is quiet  but for the birds and a very
far-distant tractor.  We're going to have a drink in the garden and a
lovely peaceful supper.  This is what gardens are for!  ;-)

I have to!  If anything drives my very equable husband mad, it's me
pointing out weeds and darting at them when we're sitting in the garden
to relax!  I hear the clink of the ice into glasses......   ;-)

I was thinking exactly the same and it's seemed quiet all day too. Everyone
must be away for the weekend.

Gorgeous evening here too.  After a full on village wedding this
afternoon I was glad of the peace.  Nice time to go out and collect seed.

Too bad the lawnmower is on the blink, the grass is getting high!
