In ten days we have had 2 gales the first with gust of 50mph the second with
gusts of 60 mph. Trees were blown down others snapped off. We also had 2" of
rain in 24 hours. The rain caused flooding this resulted in us having neither
phone nor internet for a week AND the black plastic sheeting on unused
allotments survived all that without being blown away.
