I quickly snapped a few piccies this morning of how things are progressing
as far as my veggies go.
This is the first year I've used raised beds which are fantastic as I can
easily walk around and reach into them for easy for weeding and
harvesting. Also making use of gro bags and other containers. I've decided
to only grow a few of many things as there are only two of us to feed and
no way do I want a glut of beans or any other veg.
Presently I'm growing: Lettuces, carrots, courgettes, giant pumpkin, early
and main crop potatoes, cucumbers, tomatoes, runner beans, broad beans,
spinach, red onions, early dwarf peas, mange tout, leeks, sprouts,
broccoli, and a few Italian type squash similar to courgettes but curved
and less watery and seedy.
The leeks, sprouts, and broccoli, are not planted out yet - still tiny
seedlings but eventually they will be put into the lettuce and pea bed when
they have finished producing.
No greenhouse piccies in this lot.

thing of beauty, Val! We've sold more veg plants than ever this year
and they just about flew out the door. It seems more and more people
are joining the throngs of those not just saving money but showing
concern for what they eat and how it's raised. All yours looks so well
tended and healthy. And talk about neat and tidy.......!

I like neat and tidy ;) ;)
I do have flower seedlings too which I need to find space for but they won't
be in my veggie garden :)

Yes, everything looks spick and span, doesn't it ?
Val doesn't let the grass grow under her feet.
(Sorry about that one, Val, -couldn't resist)
