Our trees are turning already and in some places are quite well
advanced.  This is much earlier than usual for us.  Has anyone else
noticed an earlier arrival of autumn colour?

Some trees here are shedding leaves, many are brown. And we have a pavement

All I've noticed is pink leaves on spindles.

Add one clump of Cornus sericea (or alba) with dull reddish purple
leaves. And I suppose that I should concede the darkening of leaves on
some Cornus sanguinea.

Yes, those are definitely on their way.  They look a bit dreary, to be honest.
