I was always under the impression that Sweet Williams flowered late
spring after the Wallflowers were finished, but these are advertised
as "Flowering Late Winter to Late Spring"

IIRC this variety flowers earlier than others and that it also self
seeds more prolifically. I don't  grow it these days but in the past
I've had Sweet William in flower from about late March to early
autumn, simply by mixing varieties/sowing times.

If it helps, just got an email from Jersey Plants who appear to be
trying to clear their remaining stocks of this variety at the same
price as they've been selling all along - £10.99 for 70 "garden ready"
or 28 "super ready".
