Will this rain never stop?
Yesterday we ended up with 0.4 inches and today we are forecast for
heavy rain for several hours.
I want to get out and start planting the dahlias, a job that will last
me 2 to 3 weeks.

You should be so lucky.

Drizzle here this morning to start with but now clearing.

Water butts going down again.

Tiny tiny bit of drizzle this morning.  Still sent hte kids to school
without coats it was so unwet.  Clouds looked angry, but I suspect they are
just teasing.

I emptied a bath load of water into mine yesterday and it's almost all gone
already.  I'm getting concerned about the build up of soap in the water, I'm
not sure how many times I can do it without it becoming a problem.  Although
the greenhouse currently smells very nice.  I may have to stop using bubble
bath.

According to the Met. statistics in the local newspaper, we have had
around 10 days with a measurable amount of precipitation in the last
two months in Zuid Holland.
