After about 15 years our autumn raspberries are growing rather weakly.
The current location is the most convenient. Does anyone have experience
of planting a fresh variety in the same position. I assume that swapping
as much soil as possible would help.

I have had a problem replacing summer fruiting raspberries. The new
canes I have planted have failed to establish and I have been advised to
'replace the soil'. The question is haw much?
