It's raining quite a lot here now and has been very windy all day, too,
as it was last night. Nonetheless it's only about 1" of rain and we
need rather a lot more to do real good. What we do NOT need is the
wind blowing plants over in the nursery and the garden.

Which is even worse - you just get the drying bit. ;-( This gale is
getting stronger and the vis is poor - it's warm but hs an autumnal
tone to the weather.

Apparently we had horrendously strong winds here in S.Wales last week.
My neighbour had to take down all of his hanging baskets before they
blew away.
Fortunately I was in the north of Mallorca Jul 3 - 17 and can report
that the temp varied from 32-37 degrees daily. No cloud, no rain and
very low humidity levels. I do love grilled King prawns!
