This year we're plunging them in several pots at the edge of one of the
beds. We've talked about doing this before and never got round to
actually doing it so I'm going to be interested to see the effect when
they flower. Ray knows I love tulips so has planted the pots up to
see if we'll enjoy this or if I'll find it too 'organised'. ;-) The
ones that have gone in are doing really well and are looking hopeful as
to leaf growth.

I found it interesting out in China just how much of ther bedding was
planted out in pots, so easy to replace, and there wasn't the "Finger
blight" that you get in the UK.

We saw loads of Chrysanthemums planted that way and some were just
grouped in pots but in great masses, either side of steps etc.
