I think we need a bit more than "pink fluffy" to go on :)
Apparently the "pink fluffy flower tree" actually exists - I think
it's a mimosa (go on, Google "pink fluffy flower tree" - you know you
want to!).
ISTR that the Japanese refer to flowering cherries as pink fluffy
flower trees as well.

In some states, 'mimosa' is American for Albizia julibrissin.

Googling for 'pink fluffy flower' produces 9,730 hits. It shouldn't
take you more than a few weeks to work your way through them!
Failing that, a bit more info would be helpful, or even a link to a
picture.
