Anyone 'solved' the Google logo today. It's very clever and rather addictive!

Not yet. I am too busy trying to sort out why my Kindle has died
again. This time weeks after the guarantee expired. I did notice that
"they" had done an update in my Kindle a few days ago.

The programmed death of the unit WAS the update. ;-)

They've been awfully good about repairs for us. My son's had a few
stuck pixels, they sent a new one out immediately.
My daughter ruined hers (new gift from an Aunt) by sitting on it, keys
in pocket; which was never covered on any guarantee. They were
sympathetic, amazingly, and sent her a new one at their cost. Even let
her keep the old one, not that it's readable.
One thing about Amazon, their customer service is peerless. I had a
problem with one of their independent vendors trying to get postage back
on an item I never received, and Amazon covered it themselves.
