I know quite a few people here have young grand children, so if you'd
like them to learn something about farming life and food production,
try the Tractor Ted DVDs for them.  I got one for our 2.5 year old
grandson and if we play it once a day we play it 6 times, along with
all the others we've now got him!  It's not a cartoon but is based on a
real life farm with real equipment and farm workers.  I think
Tractorland (!) is near Bath and the DVDs can be bought online but we
got ours from Tuckers, our local feed and equipment store.

I'm waiting to hear if it is suitable for my 5 year old terror!

We'll try it on our 3 years & 3 months terror first. The series looks like
Thomas the Tank Engine with a pig muck spreader.

o.k. then.  Are you enjoying your 3 year old terror?  I certainly
enjoy mine even though he seems to know more than I do about
computers, mind you that's not difficult is it? :-)
