I have a friend in Spain who has a couple of donkeys. Of recent he has been
keeping us all amused with the ongoing [and seemingly never ending] saga of
the younger one's - Rubi - pregnancy. He has just had a frantic two days,
read all about it here.

Were we your Mother's neighbour? ;-)
When we had our house in the country, my Sister passed her Donkey over to us
for our children.
What a racket it made :-((
Interesting reason why she had a Donkey in the first place. She had a horse
and someone said her horse 'looked lonely' in its field and needed company,
so she bought a Donkey!!!! Anyone else heard of that?
Then she got rid of the horse!

The poor thing was probably lonely. Donkeys are herd animals and every bit
of advice Gareth was given before getting the girls included "have more than
one". Don't think he planned on four, mind.
