Some time ago I seem to remember someone on here (Sacha?) recommending a
particular make of child's slide for the garden. I have tried swimming
through Google Groups to find the post but I have no recollection even of how
long ago this was.
Now that I am a grandmother <smug beam of pride> I am thinking of getting a
slide for the young chap's garden. Does anyone either recognise this earlier
posting or have a recommendation?

I think it was me, Sally because we'd bought some kit for the grand
daughter's birthday a couple of years ago. I'll ask her or her mother
what make it is and if they're still satisfied with it. I just can't
remember, though I know we bought it locally. All that said, there's a
huge range 'out there'.

IIRC I recommended the TP toys range?
The stuff is well designed We have a (metal ) climbing frame, and slide
which must be about 7 years old now and is still going strong.
We have also bought some swing frame bits second hand from ebay some of
which must be 20 years old by now - and other than some of the poles
rusting away a bit in the ground (bought another one just for the poles
really) it's all still going well
