If the weather isn't too vile tomorrow, shall we do a NYD flower count?
And a very happy and contented, relaxed and peaceful, good gardening
year to everyone.

Right, it's not raining, but will because I've put some washing out :-}
A walk around my very small patch has shown the following in flower:-
Small, dark red, patio rose.
Various polyanthus, mainly yellow and purple.
Winter Jasmine.
Vinca minor [slight cheat as it's actually alongside the service path].
Salvia "Hot Lips"
A couple of bedding pinks, one white, one pale pink.

I can do mine now. There is (was? there is a strong wind blowing here in
North Wales) a pnk rosebud visible from the front room window. If there is
anything else I will be surprised.
Happy new year to all.

And a happy new year from here, too. It's a nasty day out there,
blowinig, squalls of rain hitting the windows full pelt but not cold at
about 11C. What a contrast to last year! The flower count may happen,
it might n ot. But I can see the Seagull rose blooming defiantly.
