I'll have to go and check the windspeed but it's probably gusting to 8
or 9, then we get a lull and off it goes again. It's from the NW now
and the weather vane is veering back and forth. How we haven't had
more damage, I don't know. Being down in a little bit of a dip must be
helping, with some shelter from the rising field behind us and the
copse on top of that.

I am starting to worry about my boat which is still afloat. Not so
much about the wind but the water level.
