Anyone bought one recently?
Do they come with a floor or do you have to create a concrete or paved
base for them to sit on?
How are they attached to the ground as I'm concerned they will
blow away with our winter weather (even summer winds if last night
is anything to go by).
Thanks

I brought one last year off of E-Bay (6'x6')
I put it on an existing paved area. It came with a base which you screw
down onto the paving slabs/concrete base and the shed then fastens onto
the base using bolts and self-tapping screws. They don't come with a
floor, so I brought a heavy duty plastic tarpaulin from a DIY store
which I used doubled under the base which I then screwed down through
the plastic holding it in place. (I needed it to stop moisture coming
through the slabs as I keep my disabled scooter in there)

The normal metal sheds don't come with a floor, although kits may be
available separately. I put mine on an existing slabbed patio-type
arrangement. It is very important that the base be flat - if not you
will find parts of the shed not lining up as you try to assemble it.

Mine had a horizontal plate with a hole in it at each corner, and large
(10mm diameter?) screws and rawl-plugs to bolt it into the base. I think
it may even have included the necessary drill bit, though I used my own
much better one. Of course, this will only work if your base itself is
solid and unlikely to part company with the ground :-)

We have an extended "Keter Jumbo XL " shed it does have an integrated floor
however you need a hard base for it to stand on we used a number of paving
stones, avoid putting it straight on the ground as you are producing a nice
sheltered area for rodents beneath. I did add a flooring of waterproofed
particle board as we roll mowers and light wheeled machines in as I reckon
the floor would be cut up by the traffic.
I sited ours against two fences (corner) so far as blowing away? not with
the amount of rubbish folk store unless you on a cliff in which case a
wooden shed would probably go the same way. ground anchors would cure that
problem.
