Giving poduce away is not as easy as we think, well in my close knit
community it is like donating to the poor.
I thought I knew my neighbours. I was mistaken, apart from a very few.
One of the bastards is having bonfire night tonight, after complaining to
the police about another neighbour letting off firework crackers last
night! The din is deafening and the poor dog who lives 3 doors away is
suffering.(his owners tranq. him on 5Nov.)
I will only offer stuff in future to the people who appreciate it.
I feel better now I've had my moan.

Why can't people just do things on the right day ? I am all for
banning fireworks completely.
I don't mind trick or treaters as it means I have an excuse to buy a
massive tub of sweets and eat a fair few myself.
Give it away on freecycle perhaps instead?

I have decided to give all to the W.I. Ok I have had to take it to them,
nobody else was interested in small amounts like mine. Everthing helps. No
air miles, just a cople of litres of derv.

That's probably a good plan.
Round here there is a lunch club for the oldies. It's supplied by an
allotment specifically kept for that purpose... But that sort of place
would probably accept anything you offered.
