Just remembered this site after reading someone wasn't going to use
the quinces in their garden.

http://www.fruitshare.net/

Got fruit that you don't want and don't want it to go to waste?

:)

It's a waste of time for Chaenomeles.  As I say in the FAQ, just
look for one in a front garden, knock on their door, and ask if
you can collect some.  They are extremely common and almost
nobody ever uses them.  True quinces are a different matter.

However, it's very relevant for some other fruit at this time of
year.

Regards,
Nick Maclaren.

There's a tested recipe here for making Chaenomeles jelly that I might

There's some fruit listed near me but I've not checked it out as I'm
not able to store any more fruit at the moment.
