We had quite a sharp frost here in my part of Devon last night :( I had my
tender plants covered with fleece as a precaution but now concerned about
the apple blossom on our Bramley although it's been in flower for several
days now so hopefully won't be affected ?

We have been threatened with frost here in Kent several times over the past
fortnight but as yet its not happened. I have made the decision though, not
to plant out until May has passed.

I was coming home from a mate's last night at midnight and the car temp
guage went from 2 to 0 here in Bedford :-( No sign of actual frost
though.

Here in mid-Norfolk there was quite a severe frost last night - certainly
below zero. Luckily I have a little micro-climate in my garden that is a few
degrees warmer than the surrounding fields. Still needed to put protection
over the tender plants though.

Just a smidgin of frost here in coastal Suffolk.
A couple of shed rooves were white but that was about it.
However, not what we expect here in May!
