"Just start your bin with part or all of it on the earth and the worms will
appear"

Well that is what I have said for ages because that is what happened, BUT,
someone on here a while back asked 'Where are the worms?'

I am now asking the same question on established bins. Very few worms. Why?

Too wet, Too dry.  Too hot , Too Cold.

Not been in there long enough to produce fungus and there might be the
answer, not long enough to produce 'something nice' for the worms :-))
