'Beach Aster' aka Erigeron glaucus - a non-native, garden escape that
is widespread and common in many areas.  It will tolerate extremes of
drought and yet is more than happy in moist environments.

It seems to thrive with Erigeron karvinskianus.  We have both in low
walls facing each other here and the latter is especially prolific in
this area.
