Yes, Go an A at O-level I seem to remember.
Can still recite bits of the Homer we studied
"expectata dies aderat, nonameque sereneman" (Not sure about the
spelling tho'

Yes. Worcester Grammar School for Girls.
Only for 3 years I think though.
We had to write jokes in latin.
Fecit in britannium is one I remember.
A friend translated the two irish men sat on the floor and one fell
off though.
