...it's quite cheering to see baby tomato plants being potted on and a
general air of preparation happening. A sort of inner vision of
tomatoes and summer is a very happy one!

THE FOUR
Leaves unfolding in weak sunlight
Nature pushing on warming soil
Birds on the wing in pairs
Spring
Children splashing in shallow pools
Away from work and stress
The sound of leather on willow
Summer
Shortening days. Back to school
Morning dew on Michaelmas Daisies
Festive decorations far off
Autumn
Wind blown leaves on a frozen ground
Skating across a frozen lake
Thoughts of summer and sundrenched days
Winter
.
.
.
It happens every year
Kindest regards
Mike

Who needs baby plants? My "hanging" tomatoes are still in leaf from
last year. I'm not expecting much fruit!

As I said to someone else who told me a similar tale recently, that's
nature's way of saving you from green tomato chutney! ;-)
