I grew some canna from seed during the summer and have about 8 in
small pots. I have no experience of growing canna, and am not sure
what to do with them overwinter.
Having no greenhouse I'm not sure what to do with them once the
weather gets colder. Do they die down completely? If so mydark
garage will have to suffice. Or should I keep them growing on a
window ledge when the frosts come? They are up to 1 ft high now.
Thanks

They form a tuber like dahlias. They are not frost hardy so you need
to lift and store them in the same way as a dahlia.
Dunno if you could grow them through the Winter indoors, probably not
enough light.

We kept one in a pot indoors last winter on a light window ledge. It
stayed in leaf and flowered well this year outside.
