Nasty, strong winds about tonight. I do hate it when it's like this.
But I understand other parts of the country have it far worse and at
least it's dry here, too. I'm just very glad I'm neither at sea, nor
driving on a motorway!

Here it's been a relatively calm day, though raining on and off. Went
out with some friends to an Indian restaurant this evening. After some
lovely curries we did notice, on leaving, that the wind had picked up
a bit.
Groan!

Been ticking along at F5 to F7 today and raining almost non-stop.
Needless to say I have not ventured outside. But al least it's mild
at 10C so the rain is not likely to turn to sleet or snow, that was
yesterday... Latter half of next week looks a bit onimous but that is
a long way into the future for an accurate forecast.

Motorway I could cope with but the wave heights reported in the north
atlantic would have me feeding the fishes pretty damn quickly...
