semi-rural area - houses 100 yards or so apart - and have a serious problems with mosquitos bedding down around the house in shrubs, etc. there's a row of holly next to the garage, for example, if you agitate it with a stick, hundreds of mosquitos come pouring out. they're also collecting under our deck, and a couple of other places. - 2
few of the more active groups (a.g. is one). that, and trying to keep up with the recent sporge attacks in several groups have kept my limited usenet time, well... busy. holly 's a good choice. there's a lot of them that you can keep at 8'. as it's the entryway, i'd choose something a bit out of the ordinary. maybe: ilex x meserveae - 2

why not get a pollinator and let it reside in the back. i purchased a male holly and the berries have been about. slow to see the effect but one holly without seed is a small price to pay for many with. bill - 2
millville is famous for three things that i know of. one is it was the home of holly world which encouraged american hollies. it had a museum devoted to holly which is as hard as ebony. was bought by a media corporation and then fell into neglect. i have a few hollies about my home dr. kelsan and another one or two - 2
holly s are sticky and prickly and even poisonous to some - shouldn't be on anybody's list. - 1
i know. holly is not on my list fursure. i get turkeys in my yard occasionally and they always do something bad. - 1
