Does anybody know what this fruit is ?!?

was easily able to break it in half with my fingers to take this photo so you can see inside and out: http://i44.tinypic.com/10ie9ds.jpg it's the size of a small apricot , has a smooth (not hairy) skin that is apricot-orange, and has deep red seeds inside grouped together similar to passionfruit, that remind me of those from a pomegranate. it - 2

Re: Brown thumb needs help on planting apricot seeds.

apricot aid: this is an old tip that i've never had the occasion to test directly (but i will comment more after): drive a small spade down in one or two spots around one of your plants and cut a few roots. this might shock the plant into ripening the tomatoes. ok, this year one of the new varieties i was trying was not ripening - 1

Re: YELLOW APRICOT LEAVES

grey water has a tenancy to raise your ph. i do not know how high of a ph apricot s can take, but most good plants need a ph of 6 or less (7 is neutral). have you done a ph test of your soil? if not, you might have it done and see where you are and make any corrections you might need. dwayne - 1

Re: vines for sheds

a "peace" rose, though it doesn't seem to grow as tall). new growth is that lovely maroon. the flower is a soft yellow, almost a buff, tending to apricot . it's not a really complex rose like "buff beauty", but has a similar colour. in shape of the flower and number of petals it is rather like "peace". - 1

Re: Re Water Restrictions
