re-turf

 
Hi, al i am new to this forum and i am a true gardening novice. I need
peoples
views on my quandry, do i just rotovate the old turf into the
ground and returf
over the top or do i remove the turf first and then
rotovate the ground. I have
been advised to do both by different people
so now i am stuck.
