We are in serious difficulty, and a friend suggested asking for help
this way, and has helped me set this up.
I have a wife and three wonderful kids who I think the world of, but
this recession is taking its toll on us. We are unable to get help
from our families because they are also hit pretty hard by this
recession.
Part way through November, my employment sudden disappeared out from
under me, just after I was forced to spend most of my bank account the
previous month on emergency vehicle repairs. Things were tight, but we
were managing to get by until all this happened. I am left with bills
piling up that I can't pay, and no money for Christmas for my family.
We have already reached our limit on the credit cards.
I don't like asking people for help like this, but now we are
desperate. We need emergency money, and there's no way around it. My
friend suggested swallowing my pride for the sake of my family and
asking for donations on the internet, otherwise I wouldn't be doing
this.
I will only ask any person to donate $20 because I don't want anyone
else making it difficult for themselves just to help us. You can
donate whatever number you want of course, but I will only ask for
$20, which nearly anyone can spare. I only ask this so we can keep a
roof over our heads and the power on and so my kids can have a
Christmas. If enough people are kind enough to send us $20, maybe we
can make it through until I can find another job.
