And just so you know, that is NOT a stinger
That is a female wasp not capable of stinging- the long "tail" is actually
an ovipositor. She uses it to lay eggs, and you want as many of them in
your garden as you can get. They lay their eggs in grubs and catepillars,
and the wasp larvae hatch and kill the grubs.
