I was given a common lilac 3 years ago and its now about 6 feet tall, looks
very healthy but I haven't had any flowers on it. I have a clay type soil.
anybody have any ideas ??

I have clay soil and my lilac doesn't seem to mind. I know they don't do so
well in acid soil, and they like a sunny spot.
