Hi all
As our local council has now decided to change its recycling policy and will
only take sellected garden cuttings in its recycling bin, it seems a shame
to waste all of the other stuff we were collecting such as kitchen waste
etc. So can anyone suggest the best waysto start up my own compost bin.

Most Councils nowadays supply a large plastic Compost Bin at a discounted
price, contact them to see if yours does and complain if they don't. They do
work, in fact the one on our old allotment never provided any actual useable
compost in years, it all just disappeared into the soil below. :-(
