Bluebells

Why are so many of my bluebells turning white?
Every year fewer and fewer of them produce blue flowers.
Is it changing soil pH ? Acid rain ? Global warming ? Global dimming ?

Perhaps it is something missing in the soil. Perhaps not enough iron?
