Too many -- to make sure I have enough if the rabbits or cutworms get
them. (I always have to replant a few.)
I like to have at least 6 or 8 hot pepper plants, and this year I'm
gong to grow a couple of sweet peppers too.

Never had a dud in the old house, and most of my plants were in pots.
Now I have to worry about moles and animals.

I start with about 100 seeds, end up with maybe 50 young plants, which end
up as 25 or so successful plants in my garden.

Thanks everyone. I have 108 "pods" with at least 2 seeds in each so I
think I'll be good. Plus if I give some extra plants to the interested
neighbors, I don't have to grow them the peppers :)
