Not to get too hard nosed about it but I think everyone should follow
the protocol of using OT: to label something that is not gardening.
Some of the subjects that I believe are deserving of the label OT on an
original posting when that posting has no direct and immediate
relationship with planting a garden, maintaining a garden, harvesting
from a garden, the observed and observable health of a garden, are:
Environmental issues including Global warming/Carbon sequestration
Plant science that doesn't apply
Agriculture issues
Politics
Genetic modification
Monsanto et al and the eviles thereof
Thoughts or additions anyone?

Since Google groups just copies usenet. And people don't know its
newsgroups. Or the etiquette.
