Hi all,
Take a look at this pic - is this a disease on the leaves - all the
other shoots are fine and dandy (could it be that I put some soluble
fertiliser on it before it popped up?).

If that were in my garden, I'd first suspect it to be insect damage. A
number of insects, both adults and larvae, skeletonize leaves the the manner
shown. However you may find some guidance here:
