Can anyone help me with a white growth that has appeared on the base
on my rondeletia?
I’m not much of a gardener. I guess it’s a fungus, but I have never
seen anything like this!
It’s growing on the base of the shrub, around the little self-sown
elkhorn, and on the pebbles around the base.
There is a photo  at the following web address (continuous text - no

I have applied some Garden King Spotless fungicide – does that sound
okay?

Do a search on Mealy bug and maybe white scale. Those can be controlled by
white oil.
