Okey Dokey Everyone,
It is that time of Year. When I come out of lurking and do my annual
summer post.
My friends are ducking and weaving whenever they see me. Some are
crossing the street to avoid me, especially if I am carrying a bag.
So the question is - what are your favourite ways of using up excess
Zucchini?
I have just sliced some, tossed them in oil, chilli sauce and garlic,
and am grilling them on both sides. I will then eat them cold as anti
pasto.
And there is that good zucchini slice recipe I picked up here a few
years ago.
But any more ideas are sought.
As are ways to use about ten metres of cucumbers. They are very
limited apart from relish and salads.
And innovative ways I can hoodwink frends into taking more would be
appreciated! They don't usually lock their cars around here, but now
seem to be doing it to avoid any donations. :(
Cheers
Linda

This website looks great for recipes and free software. Be careful what
you download though...Read al lthe instructions. The Tree pad organiser,
if it lives up to the hype may come in handy...

There is an Australian film, featuring an Italian women (not young!),
and a green vegetable. You can never look at them the same after
seeing it. So it s so far from my mind, its name I cannot recall.
No - solely an interest in recipes, and other disposal tactics. But it
does make me wonder if it would be easier to dispose of them by
handing them over in plain brown paper bags.

Some more creative uses of vegetables. Very good and what looks like DNA
cloning gone wrong.
