Hi, I am just wondering if anyone knows where one can scouce ephedra
vulgaris shrubs or dry rooted plants in Australia, and the legalities
of growing them. Catnip is also of interest to me.
Thanks for your replies,
Regards, Warren

The "Aussie Plant Finder" has only one listing for ephedra and that listing
is for ephedra viridis. The supplier given for that is "Island Herbs" at
Snug in Tas (03) 6267 9218 and although that isn't what you are after, it
might be worth giving them a ring. The same book lists at least 6 nurseries
(3 in NSW, 2 in Qld and 1 in Tas) which sell nepta cataria and Island Herbs
is also given as one of the suppliers.
