My experiences with another make solar (battery powered) electric fence.
Takes at least one day in full sun to fully powerup. One full day of heavy
cloudiness results in weak spark, if you will. Have to keep the hot wire
clear of all foliage at all times. Disconnecting both sides of hot wire
from the power source greatly decreases the charging time. A significant
grounding device is needed to be effective, like a copper grounding rod.
The charger should have a grounding connection as well.
