My 1st post.
I am trying to id a small shrub, in full flower now
(Early Sept.), although it has flowered earlier
(August)when potted in full sun.

It's lower branches lie on the ground, the shrub
is compact so the flowers are dotted around the
edge. Flowers are blue, and small, in clusters
around and up to the end of a growing tip
The leaves are oval, going to a point, and not at
all fleshy or silver in any way. The general colour
of the leaves is green with a slight yellow cast.

I bought it in a a small pot at a stall selling the less
usually grown plants.

The plant is vigourous enough, in a half shade,
although the stems are only half-woody.

Perhaps it is not listed as a shrub.
After 3 years it is about 3ft high and about 4 ft wide.

Thanks a lot. It is probably Caryopteris Clandonensis of
some sort.
Brilliant result.
Thanks again.
